Can You Get Married in Persona 5 Tactica? – Answered

Does the Phantom Thief get his heart stolen?

Weddings seem to be one of the overall themes in Persona 5 Tactica. Ever since the original Persona 5 game, seeing Joker romantically involved with someone else has been a subject of discussion, and with some rumors going around, could it be that you can get married in Persona 5 Tactica?

Can You Get Married in Persona 5 Tactica?

The short answer is no, not really. However, as Joker, you can have a little fantasy of imagining what it’d be like if you married one of your fellow Phantom Thieves of Hearts buddies. This little “what if?” scenario takes place during a conversation you can choose to have at Leblanc, your safe place once again. You have to be a few hours in the game before you can get to the point in the story where you can select this “Talk” option, though.

Anne, Makoto, Futaba, and Haru all get a special sprite with their own personalized wedding gown. Ryuji and Yusuke are also eligible (finally) and they’re also dressed for the occasion, and happy to marry you. Erina, the new character introduced in this game, is unfortunately not a choice for this conversation, despite becoming close allies with Joker fairly quickly. Sadly, neither Kasumi nor Akechi are options for this dialogue either, even though they are playable characters via the DLC, and also very popular romantic interests for Joker among the fans.

Whichever Phantom Thief you choose to visualize as your future spouse has no actual impact in the story, as there’s not a real romancing route in Persona 5 Tactica. You can even choose not to have the conversation at all and your gameplay will remain the same.

Even if the conversation itself doesn’t really matter, it’s still really sweet and funny to see how the Phantom Thieves react to getting married to Joker. If you’d like to see all of the cutscenes, you might want to save before engaging in the conversation. You can pick just one option, after all!

Regardless of its lack of romance, Persona 5 Tactica is still a really good game and we highly recommend it.
