Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred’s Season of Hatred gives the first look at the new Spiritborn class in action, spawning countless top-tier builds immediately. There are several Spiritborn builds that are viable to complete the hardest content in Diablo 4, and it is hard to say that any class can match its power in season 6. Here are some of the best Spiritborn builds you can try in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred.

The Best Spiritborne Builds – Diablo 4 Season of Hatred

Quill Volley Spiritborn

The Quill Volley build is personally my top build for the season. It was made by the amazing Wudijo. You can follow his Twitch streams here.

The build uses the Quill Volley as the main skill, which shoots multiple feathers or quills in a cone, hitting all enemies. The projectiles also return back to you with the Rebounding aspect hitting all enemies twice. It kind of reminds you of an ultra-popular skill in a similar game like Path of Exile, if you know what I mean.

The build is lightning-quick, no pun intended. You use abilities like the Rushing Claw and Soar to get around while increasing the number of evade charges with the Acceleration passive.

Quill Volley burns through hordes of enemies, and it shines even better on single-target since you go melee and let every projectile hit the target twice.

Touch of Death Spiritborn

The Touch of Death build uses the same utility abilities as the Quill Volley build but with a few different unique items and aspects. Touch of Death relies on hitting an enemy and spawning swarms of Pestilence to spread poison damage across multiple targets.

You’ll rely on defensive such as Armored Hide and Counterattack to tank or dodge incoming burst damage. Scourge is used to increase your damage output against elites in little bursts, while the Hunter ultimate gives you buffs along with a massive damage boost.

However, the build has many mandatory requirements like Ring of the Midnight Sun for resource sustain and Harmony of Ebewaka and Rod of Kepeleke for some massive damage boosts. Using it as a leveling skill isn’t good, as your main skill has a long cooldown without all the needed aspects and unique items to compensate. However, when you get the build rolling, it is one of the strongest pit pushers and undercity runners in the game.

Stinger Spiritborn

The Stinger build, or as most players call it, the Centipede build, is one of the strongest starter builds in the game. It is extremely mobile, which is great for leveling, and it can scale to T3 to T4 difficulties just as well as any build out there.

The build relies on using Stinger on the enemies, or even the ground, that hits all nearby enemies because of the poison mechanic built into the skill. With the use of aspects like Pestilence and Infestation, you can also build pestilent swarms to amplify your poison damage.

It is a great leveling build because it heavily relies on the Pestilence aspect, which is unlocked by finishing a dungeon. The build uses the Devourer ability to deal with elites and bosses and uses the same mobility abilities as the first two builds on the list.

Evade Eagle Spiritborn

The Evade Eagle build is probably one of the most unexpected builds ever made. The build literally revolves around the natural evade ability and uses the Eagle Spirit buff to make each evade fling up to eight Storm Feathers against enemies, dealing lightning damage and making them vulnerable.

Since you are using the evade ability as your main skill, it is mandatory that you have the “Attacks reduce Evade’s cooldown by 1.5 seconds” implicit on your boots and use Thunderspikes as the basic ability to consistently reduce the cooldown on your evade.

You will be spamming evades to deal damage, making it mobile and inadvertently tanky because of all the evades. It combines the Sepazontec unique and the Accelerated Thunderspike skill point to basically reset your evade all the time while dealing massive damage with the Spirit Eagle on your primary Spirit Hall.

Even without the Sepazontec unique, you can reset evades by getting the Acceleration passive to 3/3 and get more evade charges. You want to stack attack speed and use a combination of some fast skills (even Quill Volley works) to constantly reset your evade with the boots implicit. Once you get the unique, you can scale the damage output even more by getting Storm Feather potency on your tempers.

You can even beat Mephisto with this build early because he can’t even touch you with all those evades. It is surely one of the best builds to level up fast because of the mobility.
