With portals open to other dimensions, another Link slipped through—the legendary Hero of Winds from the Era of the Great Sea. While trying to save his kidnapped sister, Toon Link challenged the ruler of evil. Helped by a red boat called the King of Red Lions and a wily pirate crew, and with the power to control the very wind itself, Toon Link traveled far and wide across the Great Sea. Quick on his feet and light in the air, Toon Link excels at speedy combos with his Light Sword and his trusty Deku Leaf. He may be small, but he packs a punch!

Where to Find Him

You can find this Warrior in Scenario G-9 in the Adventure Map. You must first use an Item Card in the Search Screen to locate him, and then complete the Scenario to unlock him.

Toon Link’s Weapons

Light Sword

Toon Link’s Light Sword is so well made and weightless that even the half-sized Hero of Winds can wield it with ease. Fast and fluid, his Regular Attack combo can quickly cut up nearby threats, but its short reach means it’ll take a while to chop through groups. Fortunately, many of Toon Link’s Combo Attacks end in a knock-up and downward slam maneuver that’s great for juggling larger enemies and breaking up gobs of goons. His Regular-Combo Attack is the simplest example of this knock-up and slam, but even his Regular-Regular-Regular-Regular-Combo ends with this same leaping impact. The young hero’s Special Attack and most advanced combo (Regular-Regular-Regular-Regular-Regular-Combo Attack) both feature a furious spin attack that can be controlled, letting you steer Toon Link through mobs as he spins and slices away.
