Ever since it was cryptically announced this past June in a CG-animated teaser trailer, we’ve been dying to know more about MercurySteam’s long-awaited follow-up to its brilliant 2010 adventure Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. We won’t have to wait much longer.
Both Konami and GTTV head honcho Geoff Keighley confirmed today that the first gameplay footage from the long-awaited sequel, Lords of Shadow 2, will be unveiled next week during the Spike Video Game Awards – and it’s expected to be a scorcher.
Not to leave us hanging, GTTV recently posted a teaser trailer for the upcoming footage, which once again relies on a bit of CG, but also features a fun little teaser line we haven’t heard since the days of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Good stuff.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will hit stores sometime in 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
