After a tease earlier this week, today Larian Studios gave fans a short glimpse at footage from Baldur’s Gate 3. Further, the team behind the upcoming RPG promised that more news about the sequel would be revealed on June 6 during the Guerrilla Collective Showcase.
In the meantime, fans will have to settle for a 40-second teaser trailer that is filled with hints of new areas and characters that will be present in the third installment. While the sizzle trailer didn’t necessarily reveal a whole lot about the game itself, it did a good job of hyping up next week’s showcase by showing bits of cool looking footage.

If you’re not familiar with the Guerrilla Collective Showcase, it is a three-day long digital games festival that will showcase a handful of upcoming indie games. The event will be streamed live on Twitch and will be hosted by Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller.

The action is set to kick off at 10 AM PT on June 6 and will run through June 8. As for Baldur’s Gate 3 news, we can expect more info to be revealed on June 6, but a specific time was not given. Be sure to check back to our homepage for more news on the announcements.
If you’re not familiar with the Baldur’s Gate series, it is a video game franchise for the popular board game Dungeons & Dragons. Baldur’s Gate 3 was first teased just before E3 2019 at a Google Stadia event. Earlier this year developers announced that the game would release into early access later this year but an official release date has not been announced at the time of writing.
