A brand-new game in the Aliens franchise has been announced. Aliens: Fireteam is a cooperative team-based shooter where you try to survive the hive of Aliens with your teammates.

The launch trailer was just revealed and you can check it out below. The game is being developed but Coldiron Studios, a team founded in 2015.
The website has some more information on what players can expect from the game.
“Play a pivotal role in the epic events that occur 23 years after the original Alien trilogy as a Colonial Marine stationed aboard the USS Endeavor, battling terrifying Xenomorph threats.
Face overwhelming odds against over 20 enemy types, including 11 different Xenomorphs along the evolutionary scale from Facehuggers to Praetorians, each designed with their own intelligence to ambush, outsmart and eviscerate vulnerable marines.”
The game will feature five unique classes such as the Gunner, Demolisher, Technician, Doc, and Recon. These classes will have their own perks and special abilities as well as a large array of different weapons and attachments to choose from.

Aliens: Fireteam launches sometime this summer. It will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
