Line in the Sand Destiny 2 Guide – How to Get This Weapon
The Line in the Sand is a new addition that’s showed up because of the Season of the Dawn. We’ve covered off information about this season’s Ritual weapons before, so you might find that helpful if you’re more curious about the wider variety of firearms that you can pick up. This particular Fusion Rifle will fire a single precision energy bolt with a vertical recoil from a long range, making it ideal for you to pick off threats from a distance.
Now, you’re likely more concerned with actually getting the weapon. Well, the news is that it’s totally up to RNG, which is not a surprise per se. If you want to get this, you need to ensure that you’ve got the Mars Obelisk under your belt. These Obelisks are ways to acquire Timelost bounties in the new season, and select bounties are only available if you’re smart enough to level up the Resonance Rank of your Obelisks. In the case of getting Line in the Sand, the Timelost Weapon Bounty quest that endows you with the weapon is a Rank 5 bounty, so your Obelisk will have to be at that rank before you can access it, complete the bounty and hopefully get this weapon – you’re going to need a hell of a lot of Polarized Fractaline.
