The Wolf Among Us 2 live stream hosted by Geoff Keighley revealed some new details about the upcoming game. Alongside some behind-the-scenes looks, we also got a brand new trailer for the game, which we have not seen since its first reveal at The Game Awards back in 2019.
The Wolf Among Us 2 Brand New Trailer & 2023 Release Date
The stream opened with the trailer, which shows Bigby roaming around the Good Sleep Motel fighting a hooded figure and another creature. Quickly cuts to the fact that Bigby is actually in anger management six months after the end of the first game. It then cuts back to the fight and we see Bigby turn into a werewolf. The trailer ends with a 2023 release date, so it’s going to be a while before fans get their hands on the game.
The Wolf Among Us is a retelling of the old Fables comics series of fairy tales living in NYC. In an interview with the developers on stream, they talk about Wizard of Oz characters being added to the game as well as some other new characters.
The Wolf Amons Us 2 will still be episodic and is being developed on the Unreal Engine and will feature both the original voice actors for Bigby and Snow.
The Wolf Among Us 2 will be five episodes, release in 2023, but all episodes will be finished before releasing to keep a regular cadence when it comes to releasing each one.
