Hi-Rez Studios will be rolling out an update to Tribes: Ascend by the name of Accelerate.

The update makes it much quicker to unlock weapon upgrades and earn new items. It also brings with it 27 new weapon variants, two new Capture and Hold maps and some “significant” adjustments to balance.
Tribes: Ascend, the free-top-play shooter, was launched back in April this year, quickly becoming a massive success both critically and with fans. The last time the numbers were totted up there were more than a million players.
