Skylanders Trap Team Prank Mystifies Kids at Toys R Us

The villain inside that Traptanium sounds an awful lot like Adam Corolla.

Yesterday was Skylanders Trap Team Sunday, with Activision releasing not only the new game in the series, but also the toy line. This resulted in presumably thousands of kids flooding stores around the country, and the publisher took full advantage with a prank inspired by one of Trap Team’s features.

In the game, users trap villains inside pieces of plastic known as Traptanium, with the evildoer talking to players through the new Traptanium Portal. Keeping with the theme, Activision hired Adam Corolla, who pretended to be a Skylander stuck inside some Traptanium. He proceeded to speak to any children and/or parents who approached the kiosk. Watch everything unfold in the new Trap Team video.
