Skullgirls a Big Hit For Reverge Labs and Konami

Another digital download success...

You’d think a fighting game with only eight characters wouldn’t stand a chance against the big boys, but Reverge Labs, the developers of the awesome Skullgirls for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, got some wonderful news this morning.

The team tweeted that the game has sold 50,000 units in its first ten days of release, a huge number considering how most downloadable games perform as of late. Autumn Games, the co-publisher alongside Konami, thanked fans and indicated that the first round of updates are in the works including input displays and move lists, and maybe even more fighters being added to the roster. We can’t wait!

Look for more information following the game’s release in Europe next month.
