Keep in mind that more information on these items will become available closer to their launch, and we’ll be sure to share any patch notes that become available during those times. For now, though, this roadmap will give players a good idea of what to expect out of the game’s future.

February will come with a new content update, as well as the end of Competitive Season 6. Players will also see the start of Competitive Season 7 next month, as well as the introduction of a new crate, new RLCS fan rewards, and the public beta of the new tournaments system.

Later in March, Rocket League fans can expect a new spring event, as well as the release of a new licensed premium DLC.

From there the game will continue to grow in the Spring (between March and April) with the release of the Spring Feature Update. This includes the tournaments mode, several quality of life updates, as well as better connection quality info and even updates to the Nintendo Switch’s performance and quality.

Beyond the Spring update the developers are planning to bring new party options to cross-platform play, as well as continue to push progression updates to the game. They’re also planning to release new arenas, features, and even target support for the Xbox One X for late 2018. You can read about the roadmap in full-depth over on the blog, so be sure to check it out if you’re interested in learning more about the changes.
