Throughout your time playing Red Dead Redemption 2, you’ll come across numerous valuables such as watches and necklaces. In their description, it will explicitly state that they can be sold for high prices but when you go to a General Store, you’re told the shopkeeper won’t accept the item. It’s frustrating, but it’s because you can only offload them to a Fence vendor in Red Dead Redemption 2 – someone who deals in less legitimate goods. There are a number of Red Dead Redemption 2 Fence vendors them on the map and we’ve listed the ones we’ve found below.
Fence Vendor Locations
Rhodes, Scarlett Meadows, Lemoyne
Head to Rhodes, the town in the western side of Lemoyne. In the north side of the town you’ll find a Fence. This chap is the only place we’ve found to buy the recipe for Poison Arrows, so make sure you visit him at least once.
Saint Denis, Bayou NWA, Lemoyne
At the opposite end of Lemoyne is Saint Denis, the bustling city on the corner of the river. You’ll find the Fence in the north-east. Remember this one because Saint Denis has so much going on, you’re sure to revisit this area frequently.
Van Horn Trading Post, Roanoke Ridge, New Hanover
North of Saint Denis, along the river is the Van Horn Trading Post. A small area that doesn’t have too much going for it except for a third Fence location to sell your ill-gotten valuables such as the rewards from the Jack Hall Gang quest.
