Best Sniper Rifles in PUBG

If you’re want to take out enemies from afar, then having a powerful sniper rifle is your best bet for hitting precise shots that will take out your enemies quickly. Of course there’s more to it than just having the best gun for the job, but we’ll get you started by going over the best sniper rifles below. Keep in mind that the information provided within this article is subject to change, and that we’ve chosen our best sniper rifles based on information and stats collected by the community as a whole.

AWM

Heralded as the best sniper in the game by many of PUBG’s competitive players, the AWM offers the highest damage out of any weapon in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and there is a reason that players flock to air drops in the hopes of getting their hands on one of these bad boys. Of course, that power comes at a price, and while extremely rare, you should absolutely grab this sniper rifle anytime that you get your hands on it. Seriously, it’s almost unstoppable.

  • Ammo: .300
  • Damage: 132
  • Magazine Capacity: 5
  • Range: 100-1000
  • Bullet Speed: 910
  • Fire Rate: 1.850s

M24

The M24 isn’t nearly as rare as the AWM, but it’s almost as powerful, offering a whopping 82 base damage, and a range of 100-800 meters. It offers a fire rate similar to that of the AWM, though, making it a dangerous weapon to handle in intense situations with lots of enemies around. Of course, if you’re playing your cards right, they won’t be able to even get close to you with this puppy equipped.

  • Ammo: 7.62
  • Damage: 82
  • Magazine Capacity: 5
  • Range: 100-800
  • Bullet Speed: 790
  • Fire Rate: 1.800s

Mini-14

While the Mini-14 takes quite a substantial drop when it comes to damage, the weapon’s larger magazine capacity—20 without an extended mag—allows you plenty of bullets to use on your target, should you need them. It also has a much faster fire-rate than the previous rifles mentioned, coming in at .100s versus the 1+ second fire rate of the other two rifles on this list. You can check out the full stats below.

  • Ammo: 5.56
  • Damage: 44
  • Magazine Capacity: 20
  • Range: 100-600
  • Bullet Speed: 990
  • Fire Rate: .100s

Of course, you shouldn’t discount the SKS, VSS Vintorez, or the KAR98K quite yet. All of these are substantially better than not having a sniper rifle in your arsenal, and they all provide adequate long-range coverage, provided you have the right accessories to set them up.
