NetherRealm Studio hosted a massive gameplay reveal event on January 17, showcasing several confirmed characters for Mortal Kombat 11, along with details about the upcoming game. While the official Mortal Kombat 11 announcement trailer shown during The Game Awards 2018 confirmed the return of Scorpion, Raiden, and Shao Kahn, several more confirmed characters have been added to the game’s roster following the live gameplay event.

Mortal Kombat 11 will not only feature fan favorites like Sub-Zero and Scorpion, but it will also see the return of the iconic war chief, Baraka, as well as the deadly blood mage, Skarlet, among others. MK11 will mark the debut of some brand new characters as well. One such character is Kronika, the Keeper of Time, who was initially revealed during the Mortal Kombat 11 Story Prologue trailer.
Another new confirmed character revealed for Mortal Kombat 11 is Geras, a sand-bending new fighter who wields the power to manipulate time and is described as a “powerful and loyal servant of Kronika.” You can take a look at Geras in action in his official reveal trailer below.
