Unlock the Rush Jet

  • Defeat four Robot Master bosses.

The Rush Jet will automatically unlock once you defeat four of the Robot Master bosses. It doesn’t matter which four you defeat, you can take them out however you please. As soon as you defeat the fourth boss, the Rush Jet will unlock and be available to you alongside the Rush Coil.

Once you have the Rush Jet available to you, it allows Mega Man to cover ground quickly, and without touching the ground. That means you can get across a bed of spikes with ease. You can also use the Rush Jet in mid-air, which means you can combine the Rush Coil and Rush Jet to reach really high areas and then fly across the sky. Just activate the Rush Coil, then while you’re in mid-air activate the Rush Jet.
