Those who ordered a physical copy of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle will have probably noticed by now that they’ve been rewarded with a special piece of paper with a code on it. This code, when activated, will reward players with the Pixel DLC Weapons Pack for Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. Unfortunately, some users have had issues unlocking their DLC pack, and because of that we’ve put together this handy article to help walk you through the process of obtaining your very own Pixel DLC Weapons Pack in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle.
How to Unlock the Pixel DLC Weapon Pack
First off, the only thing you really need to do to get this DLC pack is purchase Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle from an outlet store or an online retailer—like GameStop or Amazon. Once you’ve purchased the game, open up the case, and the printed code should be inside. Now, depending on your region, the way that you activate this code may differ. We’ve broken them down below to make it easy.
Those in the North American region will need to take their code and open up the Nintendo eShop. Here they’ll want to select the redeem code option and then input the code in there. This will redeem the code and automatically unlock the Pixel Pack Weapon DLC in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle.
If you’re in the EU or AU regions, though, you’re going to need to do things a bit differently. In fact, you’ll actually need to redeem your code through the Ubisoft website. Follow the directions below to find out how to unlock it.
Make your way over to www.mario-rabbids.com/redeem.
Once there, be sure to log in to your Ubisoft account, or register to create one if you don’t have one already.
After logging in, be sure to redeem your code on the code screen.
At this point, you’ll receive an email with your eShop code, and then you’ll need to enter that into the Nintendo eShop to unlock the weapons pack.
It should be noted, though, that some users outside of North America have reported being unable to redeem their code right now, so you may need to wait a few days and try again. Once you have the weapon pack, head into the game and make your way over to the Battle HQ, where you can find your weapons inside your inventory. You can set them up on the characters that you want them on, and then head out into the game to take down your enemies.
