Madden NFL 21 Cover Revealed With NFL MVP Lamar Jackson

NFP MVP Lamar Jackson takes center stage for the cover of Madden NFL 21.

It’s a new year, which means a new Madden NFL. Up until now, which NFL superstar would grace the cover was a mystery but today EA has announced what players can look forward to with the newest game in the sports franchise, and that Lamar Jackson would be the poster boy this time around.

“I grew up playing Madden and owned every copy I could get my hands on, so to be on the cover of Madden NFL 21 is a dream come true, especially when the cover represents so much of my story,” said Lamar Jackson. “The welcome to the Madden family from around the league and from fans has been phenomenal and I think people will have a lot of fun with the new features coming in this year’s game.”

Lamar Jackson is the Quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens and getting this cover was a dream come true for him. As for what the newest game in the Madden lineup will entail, NFL 21 aims to make taking to the field more immersive than ever before with innovative new gameplay mechanics regarding ball interaction, running revisions and enhanced D-Line mechanics that allow for a much more responsive experience.

In a recent press released given to Prima Games, EA also added that players can expect over 50 new features added with a brand-new season of Ultimate Team content. Fans can pre-order the Madden NFL 21 MVP Edition and receive numerous benefits, including 3-Day Early Access, Lamar Jackson Elite Item with Power Up, 17 Madden Ultimate Team Gold Team Fantasy Packs, one Large Quicksell Training Pack, Madden Championship Series Ultimate Champion Pack, 1 of 32 Elite Players from Team Elite Pack and one “Your Choice” Uniform Pack.

Madden NFL 21, and Lamar Jackson, arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on August 28th. The latest game will also be joining the Google Stadia lineup post-launch sometime in the winter months.
