Choosing a Mode

Starting a Connected Franchise is one of your first options when firing up Madden NFL 15 for the first time. Once you enter the CFM tile, you can choose the type of experience you want. You can go with an online or offline mode depending on your preference. Going with an online mode is usually the best option, even if you don’t plan on playing with other users. If you do have friends or a community of players that you would like to compete against, you can join or create a league here. The CPU is pretty challenging in CFM and makes smart decisions, but there is nothing like earning bragging rights against your rival!

  • You can quickly load your most recently played CFM franchise on the home screen; the game will auto-save your progress.

Choosing a Path

After choosing a league to join or creating your own, it is time to pick an experience. With all the options available, no two CFM universes are alike. There is no wrong choice and you can always have more than one CFM at a time. Pick between creating yourself as a character or selecting a current NFL player, coach, or owner to control. Many players like to take the reins of their favorite NFL team and try to lead it to a Super Bowl.

  • Bringing back a legend can be one of the best ways to play!
Creating a Player

Consider the depth chart of the team you want to play for and the scheme that it runs, which will affect your rating and playing time.

Creating a Coach

When creating a coach, consider how the backstory affects your start. Although you don’t start with many traits, you can develop them early in your career to maximize your roster.

Creating an Owner

Playing as an owner gives you the most control over your CFM experience. Choosing the former player backstory is great for gamers who want to focus on keeping their players happy rather than on financial gain.
