Killzone HD Coming To PlayStation Network In October

You aren’t stuck paying for the Killzone Trilogy if you just want the original.

It was announced a few days ago that Sony will be releasing The Killzone Trilogy on October 23rd, complete with Killzone 2 and 3 with all their respectable DLC components and a version of the original Killzone in HD. If you already own the PS3 Killzones, good news – you won’t need to buy the collection to get the first.

Sony has announced that Killzone HD will be released on the PlayStation Network starting October 23rd for $14.99. The game will feature a single player campaign with four playable characters, along with an offline multiplayer mode against AI opponents. It’ll also receive an overhaul with beautiful 720p graphics, complete with sharper textures and sound.  You’ll also be able to unlock a bunch of trophies within the game, including an all new Platinum Trophy if you think you can unlock it.
