Sony has said that Quantic Dream’s highly acclaimed adventure game Heavy Rain has been reworked to use PlayStation Move controls.

The updated version of the game will be released at retail later this year and a patch will also be made available to existing owners.

Sony announced the news at its E3 press conference in Los Angeles along with news that Move will launch in September.

A video of Heavy Rain working with Move due out after the conference shows two people playing it while sat on a couch, although neither of them appeared to be a depressed father or an alienated child, and it wasn’t raining outside.

Heavy Rain Move should be playable on the E3 show floor.
