Summit the Highest Mountain Fortnite Guide – Alter Ego Quest

Why are you being asked to climb the highest mountain Fortnite, you ask? Well, you’re going to have to if you want to finish the Alter Ego mission. Specifically, you’re gonna be asked to summit the highest mountain while wearing the Journey outfit.

Now, this mountain is pretty easy to found. Why? Well, it’s gonna stick out like a sore thumb. We’re not quite talking the levels of Lockie’s Lighthouse, but you get the drift. You’re going to want to head to the south-eastern corner of the map when you’re dropping. The peak that has the Weather Station nearby is the one that you’re looking for. It’s visibly totally cloaked in snow, and has a twin peak to the east of it that’s a little smaller.

As the challenge suggests, you will have to be wearing the Journey outfit when reaching the top of this peak for the objective to be completed. You’ll be familiar with this outfit; you can earn it at level 1 of the Battle Pass, so it’s an easy thing to make sure that you’ve packed before you make the, uh, journey.

Now that you’ve got our guide on the ‘summit the highest mountain’ Fortnite task that’s part of the Alter Ego challenges, you should be well on your way to being the best mountaineer that your match has seen. If you need a hand with anything else in this latest Chapter of everyone’s favorite battle royale, you can also check out what we know about the locations to complete the Forged in Slurp challenges. They’re pretty easy to spot too, since we’ll show you where to look.
