In order to pull off the Chronic Survivor trophy, you will need to follow the instructions below without any deviation.

How to Get the Survivor Syndrome Trophy

Earning this trophy is very easy, and all you will need to do is complete an area early in the game. When playing through the ADS Heist memory, you will need to complete it without killing anybody in the chapter. Doing this will allow Boyce to live through the heist, which will make him appear later on in the game. If Boyce lives through the ADS Heist, you’ll unlock the Survivor Syndrome trophy. It doesn’t matter if you are spotted during the heist, as all you have to do is complete the area without killing any guards inside.

Now it’s time to complete the trophy set and help Boyce escape from the Asylum. To do this, make your way through the game until you get into Building C. Here you’ll find Boyce inside a cell, on the left side of the area. Pass him the Crowbar when he asks for it, and he’ll break himself out of the cell.

From here, continue playing through the game until you return to Building C for a second time. Just after you open the cell door, look for an open vent in that same room. If you look at the vent, you’ll earn the Chronic Survivor trophy for helping Boyce escape the Asylum. That’s all it takes to pick up these two trophies and shorten the list of items needed to finish up your platinum or 100% achievement run.
