Fortnite’s Season 8 challenges have kicked off with a range of intriguing challenges tied to the new environments in the map. One that has a fair few players stumped is where to “Visit Three Giant Faces”. Thankfully, if you already know where to go then this is a pretty easy challenge. To save you a lot of time running around the island, we’ve put together this quick guide to help you visit the three giant faces in Fortnite Season 8.
The “Giant Faces” mentioned can be found carved into the landscape about the island. They’re only made of eyes, eyebrows, a nose and a mouth, but they should still be pretty obvious when you spot them. To see them for yourself, simply visit each of the locations marked on the map below, or check the text underneath for further details.
Giant Face 1
The first Giant Face far in the north east of the map, directly east of the new Sunny Steps location. You’re looking for a hillside that overlooks the sea. On the clear side of this hill, you’ll find the face you’re looking for.
Giant Face 2
You’ll need to head far to the south for the next Giant Face, as it’s located along the coast directly south of Paradise Palms. The Face is on a bit of the coast that sticks out to the south, roughly in line with Lucky Landing. You can spot the hill this face is on thanks to the buildings perched on top.
Giant Face 3
The last Giant Face is also on the southern edge of the isle, this time to the southeast of Happy Hamlet. The Giant Face is within the winter biome, and should be pretty obvious thanks to its pointy teeth.
Make sure the challenge tracker acknowledges each time you visit a face, so that once you’ve visited all three Giant Faces the challenge should be complete. If for any reason the challenge hasn’t completed, there are only three places to visit so simply drop to them again and explore the area near to the face until it registers. With that challenge out of the way, you’ll be ready to move onto the rest of what Fortnite Season 8 has to offer.
