Your class might not seem important when you’re scavenging for supplies, but it really is. While classes like the Ninja and Soldier are good for anything, the Outlander is really the best class to gather with, as they have the highest chance of finding rare items throughout the world. Missions like Ride the Lightning and Fight the Storm aren’t timed, allowing you to take as much time to explore the map as you’d like. You’ll also want to choose specific areas based on the types of materials that you need. For example, Stone and Wood can best be gathered from forested areas, whereas Metal will be more plentiful in suburban or city zones.
