Fortnite Season 9 introduced a lot of new things including new areas, new weapons, and new skins. Perhaps the most notable addition comes in the form of the Fortbytes, the newest collectable in this Battle Royale game. These computer chips are found by completing challenges, finding them throughout the world, or solving puzzles. Each one brings you a step closer to completing the full puzzle and each one also leads you to a bit more loot. Collecting them all is well worth it then, which leads us to Fortbyte 92 which has you trying to complete the challenge “use Rock Love Spray near a lavafall”. There are two parts to this little quest, so here is how to manage it.
Where to Grab Fortbyte 92
Before you try to find the lavafall you need to make sure you have access to the Rock Love Spray. In order to attain this, you need to get to tier 2 of the battle pass. If you are just starting out then don’t worry, this should be nice and easy to do even if you’ve only started playing this week.
The second part of the puzzle is finding the area where you need to use it. Unsurprisingly, the area is quite near the volcano. In fact, it is pretty much perfectly south of the volcano in amongst the stream of lava that flows there. You need to head to just below Pressure Plant in order to find it. If you look around here, on the small island in the lava stream, then you should be able to see the Fortbyte hovering there. Simply use the Rock Love Spray while you are near it and you will be able to grab it for your collection.
