Fortnite Unvaulted LTM and Teams of 33 Now Available

Play with your favorite vaulted weapons in the new Unvaulted LTM in Fortnite.

Epic Games is kicking off the holiday season with the introduction of two new limited-time modes, Teams of 33 and Unvaulted. Today also marks the start of the 14 Days of Fortnite event, which features a series of challenges and rewards that will roll out over the next two weeks.

The Unvaulted LTM features matches that have a limited set of items and weapons, including those that have been restored from the vault. This is a good way to enjoy weapons that were previously removed from the game, such as the Tactical SMG. Regular weapons and items are available in this mode as well, but you should be able to stumble upon some old favorites if you search well enough.

Fortnite Unvaulted LTM

Unvaulted has replaced the Classic Mode LTM, which allowed players to relive the early days of Fortnite by playing matches that only featured items from the first two seasons. Classic Mode didn’t seem to last long before being replaced by Unvaulted, so perhaps we will see this mode return before the end of the holiday event in Fortnite.

The other newly added LTM is Teams of 33, which, as the name suggests, consists of matches that feature three teams of 33, somewhat like the 50v50 LTM. The mode contains extra loot and a more dangerous storm to keep players on their toes.

Fortnite Candy Cane Wrap

We can expect to see some other new LTMs over the course of the fortnight-long 14 Days of Fortnite event, perhaps even some returning game modes as well. Alongside these two new game modes, players can also pick up some new Christmas-themed outfits and wraps in the Item Shop, namely the Red-Nosed Ranger/Raider and the Candy Cane wrap.

A new set of weekly challenges should be on their way tomorrow, so be sure to check back here for guides on how to complete the trickier challenges. Until then, head over to our guides on all forbidden dance locations in Fortnite Season 7 as well as where to compete in a dance off at an abandoned mansion in Fortnite.
