Earlier this week, we reported that Gaijin Games was adding a pack of new running characters to its hit platforming game Runner 2, through a new compilation called the Good Friends DLC pack. Raz from Psychonauts and Quote from Cave Story have already been confirmed, and today we learned of two new additions.
First up is Josef, the robotic hero from the PlayStation 3/Vita adventure game Machinarium. He brings plenty of mechanical goodness to the proceedings, as you can tell from the trailer. The clever narration from Charles Martinet alone makes this trailer worth watching.
Also being added to the game is the main villain from the platforming title Super Meat Boy, Dr. Fetus. After seeing his meaty adversary steal the spotlight for so long, the fetus demands a turn – and now he’s getting it. Again, Martinet nails the awesome commentary.
Runner 2’s Good Friends DLC releases for Steam tomorrow, and will arrive for consoles later this year.
