Hope County is a big place, and there are a couple of things you’ll want to focus on if you’re seeking money. Before we get started, though, we do want to explain something. All throughout the county, there are various vendors and shops that players can visit and purchase items from. When you first find one of these vendors, make sure you open their menu and see what kind of items you can sell by finding the Sell Loot option in the menu.

How to Make Money Fast

There are three primary ways for players to make money quickly in Far Cry 5, and these ways offer three completely different playstyles that should fit just about any player.

If you enjoy the exploration that comes with Far Cry games, when Hope County is chock full of different hidden cubbyholes for you to find and loot. In fact, one of the best ways to score some money is to search for Prepper Stashes or find out safe locations. Both of these items will reward you quite handsomely with money and things like perk magazines, so it’s definitely worth searching them out and looting them when you have a chance.

If you enjoy the exploration but want a bit more action involved, then hunting can be a good alternative for making money quickly in Far Cry 5. Hunting involves tracking down animals, shooting them, and skinning them. The better you are at killing the animal quickly (taking it down with an arrow, versus shooting it eight times with a shotgun) will determine how much the skin is worth when you sell it to a vendor at one of the man outposts and locations around the map. There are a ton of animals around the map for you to hunt as well, so keep an eye out for signs to point out where they reside so that you can hunt them down and claim their skins.

If you’re the type of player who just wants to sit back and enjoy the beauty of the world around you, then fishing is going to be one of the best ways for you to make money. Not only is it a lucrative activity, but it’s also pretty relaxing to just sit back on a dock somewhere and catch yourself some fish. There are also quite a few different types of bait, fish, and even rods for you to find, which will help you catch even better fish to sell to the vendors around the county. You can find out  how to fish as well as how to get a fishing rod to learn more about fishing and the benefits it has to offer.
