Status Savannah Modern Warfare Guide – What Is This?
The Status Savannah is probably a bit frustrating to get, since we’re gonna level with you: it’s a connection error. Essentially, it’s going to crop up when you can’t connect to an online session. It will display the following message: “Unable to join game session, the host cannot be joined or gameplay is paused. Status: SAVANNAH.” Unhelpfully, it won’t tell you why the host can’t be joined, it’ll just tell you that it can’t be done. Activision’s forums aren’t a whole lot of help either, similar to seeking solutions for previous error codes, but community experience has pooled a couple of possible solutions.
One temporary solution to this code is to update your game. This connection error can sometimes occur when there’s an update discrepancy between your multiplayer mate and yourself, specifically the version of the game that your friend is using if you’re trying to connect to their lobby. You’ll have to both make sure that you’re on the same version of the game, which is fairly easy to check – you’ll receive the error discrepancy message if you’re wanting to party with your friend, so that’s a quick way to establish whether you’re both on compatible versions. Once you’ve figured this out, updating whoever’s on the earlier title of the game should sort this out quick smart.
However, until there’s an official suggestion from Activision, this is really the only thing that might be a workaround.
