Upgrading perks requires SHD Tech, a resource that becomes harder to obtain the further through the campaign you progress. You therefore need to pick and choose very carefully from the 19 available perk categories. Here are the perks we’ve found the most useful while playing through the beginning stages of The Division 2. This selection will boost your storage space, ammo and armor, as well as helping you level up faster.
Experience Perks
Leveling up fast will help you unlock more skills and boost your overall capability, so it’s well worth grabbing some experience perks early. These include Headshot Accolade, Multi-kill Accolade, Weakpoints Accolade and Tactical Kill Accolade. Each of these will grant you more experience for earning kills in their respective manner, so if you have a certain playstyle then pick the perks that apply. Unlock enough and you’ll get the chance to grab the Survivor perk, which will give experience simply for staying alive for lengthy periods.
