Destiny: Rise of Iron has released, and Guardians everywhere are busy making their way to the top of Felwinter Peak, where they too can become an Iron Lord. But, as you set off on your journey to help Lord Saladin, you might be wondering how you get that shiny new Young Wolf’s Howl Exotic Sword that was leaked a few weeks ago. In this article we will teach you everything you need to know to obtain the Young Wolf’s Howl, a 340 Defense Exotic Sword.
Complete King of the Mountain
The first step to getting the new Exotic Sword is to complete the King of the Mountain story mission that opens Rise of Iron. This mission sees the Guardian tasked with climbing Felwinter Peak, and protecting the Iron Temple from a new threat, a SIVA infused Sepiks Prime, who has been so aptly named Sepiks Perfected. After you have climbed Felwinter Peak, and defeated Sepiks Perfected, you will be tasked with chasing him down in the second mission of the expansion pack, The Walls Come Down.
Complete the Rise of Iron Main Storyline
Now that you’ve completed the first two missions, there is really only one requirement left to finish. Head back into the battle with the Devil Splicers and complete the rest of the missions that make up the main Destiny: Rise of Iron campaign. This main storyline includes the two missions we mentioned above, as well as an additional eleven steps to complete it. Those steps include:

- She Who Watches
- Eyes Up
- The Plaguelands
- A New Path
- Download Complete
- Facing the Threat
- The Iron Tomb
- Shiro Dreams of Victory
- A New Flame
After you complete the mission The Iron Tomb you will be automatically transported back to the Iron Temple, where you will witness a cutscene. In this cutscene Lord Saladin will congratulate you on your victory and thank you for your service. He will also reward you with the Young Wolf’s Howl, and welcome you into the new order of the Iron Lords.
