Earlier this week, Activision revealed that Bungie’s Destiny has an impressive 9.5 million registered users who spend an average of three hours playing the game each day. Considering we barely have 30 minutes to do anything on a daily basis, let alone three hours, how do these gamers spend their time?

Here’s the simplest answer: killing aliens with friends or enjoying multiplayer. There’s also an excellent chance they’re searching for those hard-to-find gold chests.

Maybe they kick back and wander around The Tower, occasionally stopping to visit the infamous Cryptarch.  Then again, we hear the Vault of Glass is especially difficult if you don’t bring high-level friends along for the ride.  Of course, there has to be a small percentage of players who have yet to beat the story mode, crazy as that may sound.

If you still play Destiny, what do you do to pass the time? Perhaps more importantly, do you play for three hours or more per day? If so, these articles will help you get the most from Bungie’s addictive first person shooter.

Meanwhile, we already have a list of the most wanted features for Destiny 2.

Destiny isn't a simple game, but its complications are part of the appeal. Our hope is that this guide will help you understand what each of your choices mean when creating a Hunter, and perhaps give you some insight into what the benefits of the Abilities, Passives and Ability Modifiers are.
