There are a lot of changes coming to Destiny 2 with the release of Curse of Osiris, and that means players will want to know what they have waiting for them when they log into the game. On top of some minor changes, the game will also receive a host of changes to things like weapons, armor, classes, world activities, and even the companion app available on mobile devices.

Some of the most notable changes coming with the patch include a nerf to the Arc Titan’s arsenal. The Pulse grenade has slightly reduced damage now, and the camera shake effect that it once inflicted has been dialed down quite a bit. The recharge rate of the second grenade has also been slowed down some, making it harder to just toss grenades out left and right. Players will also notice that the recharge rate for both the Arcbolt and Firebolt grenades have been more normalized to even out better with the other grenades in the game.

Hunter leg armor that utilizes the Survivalist package will now grant Recovery, and Lucky Pants will get a nice buff too, as it will now load a single round into holstered hand cannons whenever the wearer of the item scores a precision hit with any type of weapon. This means that players who constantly score headshots or other precision hits will always have bullets waiting to be utilized. The Warlock’s Starfire Protocol chest armor has also received a nice change, with the grenade recharge rate that’s granted from it being adjusted to work better with the changes made to the second grenades.

Another big change that will make many players happy is the increase in rewards across the board for Quickplay and Competitive PvP. Not only has the amount of XP been increased, but players can also expect to see even more Rare and Legendary drops coming from their time in The Crucible. The recommend ratings for the Leviathan Raid, as well as the Nightfall and Guided Games have also been adjusted, to make these items even closer to the new max level cap and Power Level changes that were initiated with the DLC drop.

There are, of course, vastly more changes than that to take into consideration, these are just some of the most notable, so be sure to head back over to the original patch notes post on the Destiny 2 blog to see what all changes have been made to the game.
