When Does Ghost Recon Wildlands Release?

Ghost Recon Wildlands is set to release on March 7, 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game will cost the standard price of $59.99, with a $69.99 Deluxe Edition version available as well. Ubisoft has also mentioned that they will hold a beta period for the game sometime before its release, so fans should expect that to happen within the next couple of months.

What’s New in Ghost Recon Wildlands?

Much like previous Ghost Recon games, players will take control of the Ghost Recon squad and lead them through various missions and encounters. This time around, though, the world is massive and open, drawing inspiration from previous Ubisoft titles like Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry to help bring the world of Ghost Recon to life like never before. Players will have the option of completing missions stealthily, or by going in guns blazing. They’ll also be able to choose which order they complete missions in, allowing them to choose how they progress through the game’s story campaign.

Ghost Recon Wildlands will also feature 4-player cooperative gameplay, allowing fans to team up with three of their friends and rule the land with guns, vehicles, and explosives.

Ghost Recon Wildlands Gameplay Details

Like previous Ubisoft titles, Wildlands will feature many choices for players to make, essentially allowing them to play the way they want to play. When completing missions, you can go in guns blazing, blowing up every enemy soldier who gets in your way. Or, if you prefer, you can wait it out and sneak into your enemy’s compounds with stealth and silenced weapons. The choice is yours, and no matter what you decide to do, you’ll always have plenty of options available to you along the way.

The game will also feature an extremely in-depth weapon customization system, allowing players to customize their weapons and gear the way that they want.

Play Alone or With Friends

One of the biggest features being touted for Wildlands is the ability to drop in and out of your friend’s games with ease. Players who want to enjoy the story by themselves can play it completely solo, whereas others can dive into the story with a up to three friends to tag along. Either way you play the game, there will be four main characters, with the other squad members being AI bots if you have no cooperative team members set to join your match.

Where does Ghost Recon Wildlands Take Place?

In the newest installment of the Ghost Recon series, players travel to Bolivia, where they will experience a huge open world with a day/night cycle and a full-fledged weather system. As we stated earlier, this is also the largest open world that Ubisoft has ever created, and the game appears to offer plenty of variety among its different areas to keep things fresh for quite a while.
