Two-Day Virtual WitcherCon Schedule Revealed

If the idea of WitcherCon piqued your interest back when it was first teased, you’ll be excited to hear the full schedule for the virtual event has been shared, offering fans a nice overview in regards to what sort of content WitcherCon will have on offer.

The schedule was posted to the official WitcherCon website, and if you haven’t done so already, we highly recommend checking out the website. Starting with the basics though, WitcherCon will be a two-day online event starting Friday, July 9.

On the website, WitcherCon is described as follows

“WitcherCon is a global virtual celebration of The Witcher! This digital convention will be streamed on both Netflix and CD PROJEKT RED’s YouTube and Twitch channels and will be available for co-streaming.

Watch the worlds of CD PROJEKT RED’s The Witcher video games and The Witcher Netflix series come together for an event full of surprises and exclusive first looks. Get ready for:

    • Deep dives into the making of The Witcher games, live action series, anime film, and merchandise, including exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.
    • Interactive panels spotlighting the people who brought The Witcher to life in-game and on-screen, featuring breaking news from the Netflix series and never-before-seen reveals from across The Witcher franchise.
    • Expert explorations into the lore, legends, monsters, and origins of the Continent.”

A note is also included that specifies “no new Witcher game will be announced at WitcherCon” so if you were wondering whether or not that was a possibility, it sounds like it’s not unfortunately.

The first WitcherCon stream begins July 9 at 1:00 p.m. (airing on Twitch and YouTube) and opens with a panel featuring the cast and showrunner of Netflix’s The Witcher drawing cards from a deck of fan questions. That stream is then followed by a look at GWENT: The Witcher Card Game.

On July 10, the stream will open once again with a panel featuring the cast and showrunner of Netflix’s Witcher. After that, viewers can look forward to things like Witcher trivia and a behind-the-scenes look at the Netflix anime film The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf with Studio Mir.

To make the schedule easier to navigate, we’ve included the full list for both days including the expanded descriptions for the panels and activities as provided by the official WitcherCon website
