Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled takes what we loved from the original racing game and updates the experience into this generation. From renovated tracks, to that competitive spirit we know and love, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled has been one of the best blasts from the past releases of the year. To celebrate the nostalgia-fueled launch, Activision teamed up with Hollister for a unique play event that featured food, giveaways, and even a super exclusive t-shirt.

During the event, which we 'crashed' for love of our favorite bandicoot, Hollister and Activision offered an exclusive limited-edition t-shirt that was in such high demand it sold out instantly. They even had two very passionate streamers on hand, including RunJDRun and Fuslie, to take to their favorite tracks and show off just how much this incredibly fun racing game has evolved.

But it wasn't just streamers that got to play. Hollister stores around the United States set up play stations for customers to enjoy. For those that needed a little break in between shopping stints, it was easy to sit down comfortably on one of the provided couches and play a few rounds before carrying on with other daily tasks.

Though seemingly a random partnership, the Hollister x Activision event just goes to show how much gaming has grown in recent years, reaching mainstream levels of support and adoration so that all can enjoy this beloved past-time. More and more big corporations are showing their gamer side and if they are all as fun as this, it just means our community is getting even better.

We even caught a snippet of the event ourselves with our very own Editor in Chief Liana Ruppert on-scene to get some delicious pizza and hang with other Crash fans:

You can see the full live-stream event in the video above, including a closer look at the shirts and just how much Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled improved a treasured gaming experience.

As for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled itself, the racing adventure is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
