As Fortnite players work their way through the Ghostbusters questline, they’ll eventually be tasked with exterminating Mini Pufts with a pickaxe. Not only is this confusing in terms of what Mini Pufts look like, but also in regards to where to find them.
To help make things as easy as possible, we’ve put together a quick guide on how and where to exterminate Mini Pufts in Fortnite.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 | Where to Exterminate Mini Pufts
As part of the Ghostbusters questline, Fortnite players will need to find and exterminate three Mini Pufts using their pickaxe. When interacting with the quest, locations where these Mini Pufts can be found are shown which include Lazy Lake, Retail Row, and Sludgy Swamp.
For this, we decided to make our way over to Lazy Lake as there’s a large cluster of Mini Pufts all in the same location. In the image below, you’ll see where on the map you can find the Mini Pufts at Lazy Lake in Fortnite.
Once you find the Mini Pufts, your next order of business is exterminating them. In total, you’ll need to exterminate three Mini Pufts using your pickaxe. This part is pretty simple, all you need to do is get your pickaxe out and start swinging at the Mini Pufts.
When you hit them, a burst of light will happen and the Mini Puft will disappear. Keep doing this until the quest is complete.
As a reward for completing this Ghostbuster quest in Fortnite, you’ll earn 2.7k XP and can move on to other quests in Fortnite. We hope this guide has helped!
